TJ Immobilizer problems

Post by sandra_morgan »

We have a 2002 Diamante 3.5 V6 Auto. It has intermittent starting problems and has been scanned as immobilizer problem code 54.
It used to start intermittently but now will only start just the once if we unplug the ECU and then replug in.
It wont allow it to start again unless we unplug the ECU again and then will only start the once and we have to repeat the process.
has anyone else encountered this problem, if so what is the 'fix'
