Removing/Modifying Door Molding

Post by addy »

Hi, so I've seen that removing the exterior door molding it leaves some holes which requires a lot of work/money to fill and repaint so most don't bother. But I was wondering if anyone has ever sanded down the moldings so they're not so prominent/less noticeable so don't stick out as much. Is this something that can be done/won't look terrible? Loving my Verada but really hating the door molding.
