380 Aftermarket seats

Post by Afe380 » 09 Jul 2015, 13:33

Hey, new to the board so feel free to remove if I'm in the wrong place.

I want to replace the seats in my 380 to something aftermarket as the OEM seats have no side support whatsoever.
Can anyone tell me
1, what sort (brand) of seat I should be looking for
And
2, how big of a job this would be to accomplish

I've looked all over and can't seem to find any info on this at all.

The car will become unroadworthy as the airbags are fitted in the side of the seats.

Your options are to fit seats from a dfferent model 380.

there are 4 different types of seats.

I prefer the black leather GT seats.
Twin turbo Mitsubishi 380GT -16 PSI boost with 3.9 litres and LSD conservatively at ... 270Kw @ 710Nm at the wheels!
Supercharged TMR380 ....complete with custom Quaife limited slip differential.........191kw @400NM at the wheels
No virtual dyno here.

Sorry for reserecting such an old post, I have black leather seats fro an 05 GT in my 07 380 Platinum. I need the wireing connections for the 10 way base as I would like to get all the functions of the seat working. I know the memory functions wont work. At the moment I have the old seat base fitted but cant change the backrest angle.
